This Old Portsmouth and Southsea Common walk could easily keep you occupied all day, visiting shops, cafes, bars, museums, parks, amusement arcades – what more do you want? 

It’s a breezy, but flat, 5-mile loop along Southsea Seafront from South Sensation ambassador and lovely lady, Frances from @whymummywalks

Frances loves visiting Portsmouth where the constant presence of tourists down on the front make her feel she’s on holiday by the sea.

You can just wander for a couple of hours by the sea. No mud, wet ground or grass – and no need for wellies.

The walk also includes visiting Gunwharf Quays waterfront outlet shopping – a day out in itself!
