MUSHROOMS ON TOAST

Sometimes, as the saying goes, less is more.
Let the taste of these exquisitve mushrooms speak for themselves.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 large slices toasted, buttered good bread
- 50g butter
- 200g mixed mushrooms
- 1 crushed garlic clove
- Salt and pepper
- Couple of drops of tabasco
METHOD
Melt butter in a frying pan.
Add crushed Isle of Wight garlic and fry gently until soft.
Add mushrooms and cook gently.
Add salt, coarse ground black pepper and tabasco.
In a few minutes you will have a simple but stunning mushroom mix to pop over hot, buttered toast. Delicious with a slice or two of crispy bacon.
